Staff Reporter THE Inspector-General of the Namibian Police (NamPol), Lieutenant-General Joseph Shikongo, has raised concerns about overcrowding in police cells across the country. According to him, police officers are partly to blame for this situation, as some tend to arrest individuals for minor offences before weekends, leading to their detention over the weekend and overcrowding .
