June 30, 2024 (ZALINGEI) – The World Food Programme (WFP) revealed on Sunday that unknown armed men looted three aid trucks on their way to Central Darfur. On Thursday, the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) reported an increase in the number of hungry Sudanese to 25.6 million people, including 755,000 individuals in the famine stage, which is feared to occur in 14 areas located in Kordofan, Darfur, Al Jazirah, and Sennar.
